The Road Company has but one initiative
and that is to reach people - you and old - with hard-hitting, lively works performed in detention center, public and private
schools, youth centers, geriatric facilities, churches, synagogues, special event locales, and community centers all over
NYC and the Tri-State area.

Our School Plays are energetic,
frant looks at issues such as substance abuse, conflict resolution, and sexual decision making (with an abstinence theme).
We see these tours as a pro-active effort to preserve the life and unique giftedness of each young person. Eastern Gate
Entertainment believes that children and teenagers are placed at risk by society's conflicting messages on morality, respect
for life, self-image and personal responsibility for one's actions. We perform works which enkindle respect for
people, belief in the virtues of hope and faith, and desire for wholeness in this fragmented society in which we live.
We present art which is born of commitment to build community shared with a love for NYC. Our goal is to maximize the impact of our plays on our audiences: - The plays are customized to current youth culture;
- The
capture the students' involvement through emotionally gripping performances;
- They intervene in patterns of behavior by showing the realistic consequences of that behavior; and
- They require the students to focus, think, imagine and assess, building their artistic
and emotional literacy.

Our Church Plays we've
chose to showcase are a perfect complement to sermon illustrations, retreats, Bible Study groups, outreach events, and more.
These plays are designed to impact congregations and ministry audiences so that they can experience healing, forgiveness and
restoration in their circumstances. The 2009/2010 Season features plays that demonstrate our true worth in God's
eyes, portray stories of redemption and salvation, told with laughter and ters, and boldly show God's faithfulness through
the ages. These plays are great for women's groups, church celebrations and events, singles' retreats, couples
retreats, and any event where people can and will be inspired.
